Al Jawhar: We hope to develop holy shrines in coming days

Deputy General Secretary and his accompanying delegation in an inspection tour of Basra shrines

During the inspection tours of Iraqi shrines and under the direct guidance of His Excellency Head of Shiite Endowment, Mr. Alaa Al-Moussawi (Dam Azza), Deputy General Secretary, His Eminence Sheikh Khalifa Al-Jawhar (Dam Tawfikah), and his accompanying delegation Mr. Anwar Al-Muzaffar, Head of Engineering Department, Suhail Najam head of Administrative Affairs Department, Mr. Luay Abdul Karim Head of Information and Public Relations Department, Head of Finance Department Mr. Khalid Salman, and Mr. Mohammed Al-Araji, Director of Department of Stores, inspected shrines of Basra .

The tour started with visit Abdullah ben Aqeel and his sister Fatima Bent Aqeel (may Allah be pleased with them) which is located in the area of Saybah / Kut al-Zein region, where His Eminence instructed the restoration and reconstruction the shrine of Abdullah ben Aqeel (may Allah be pleased with him) during a meeting held in holy shrine.

The shrine of Fatima bent Aqil (may Allah be pleased with him) will be work a roofer to visitors rest.

The delegation then visited the shrine of Zaid ben Suhan al-Abdi (in the area of Saybah).

The discussion revolved around creating a new window for shrine, mixing old and new art; On the construction of columns and the manner of beautiful inscriptions, and work of cutting men apart from women, and landscaping the area surrounding the shrine .

Then a delegation went to visit the shrine of Damer ben Abdullah ben al-Harith (may Allah be pleased with him) in the district of Abu al-Khasib / Al Fawz river, and was discussed to meet the needs of the shrine to be eligible to receive visitors, accompanied the delegation Mr. Osama Mohammed Amin director of Shiite Endowment in Basra.

At the conclusion of the tour, the visiting delegation thanked and commended cadres of the shrines for their hospitality.
