The Special Secretariat of Al Sheikh Al-Kulaini (Qods) is holding its 22nd annual festival
On the occasion of anniversary of birth of Sheikh Al-Kulaini (Qods), the Special Secretariat of holy shrine in Baghdad held its 22nd annual festival in the presence of Deputy General Secretary for shrines, Sheikh Khalifa Al-Jawhar (Dam Tawfikah) ,informative, a number of special secretaries of the shrines, And a large number of believers.
The festival began with recitation of verses from Holy Quran by the voice of the reader, Mr. Amer Al-Kadhmi, followed by the speech of the Special Secretary of the shrine Sheikh Shihab Al-Shuwaili saying: In conjunction with the birth of Imam Al-Hajjah (Ajlallah Farajah) we bless the Islamic Nation and attendants the birth of Al Sheikh Abu Jaafar Al-Kualini (Quds).
Al-Shuwaili talked about the life of Sheikh Al-Kulaini and his most important works: the book (Al-Kafi) is one of the major books in Sharia with eight parts. He pointed out that Al Kulaini shrine was demolished and excavated in the time of Ottomans and again in the time of the English.
The festival included a play entitled "Traveler to Baghdad," simulating a brief biography of the life of a senior religious scholar, Al Sheikh Al-Kalini (Quds) written by novelist Nazem Al-Shuwaili and directed by Ali Jawad Al-Rikabi.
At the end of the festival, Al-Kualini's shields were distributed to the participants in the festival and the attendants.
