The engineering staff at General Secretariat of the Shiite holy shrines complete the project of raising the iron dome of the shrine of Sayyed Mohammed Al-Aris (may Allah be pleased with him) in Diwaniya/ Afak district witnessed completed the lifting of the iron dome of the shrine and under the auspices of the General Secretariat of the Shiite holy shrines.
The ceremony, which began with reading verses from the Holy Quran, was followed by a welcoming speech by Sheikh Naim Abdul Sultan, Director of Diwaniya Coordination Office, through which he thanked the attendees and those who are taking pains to travel to participate in this important achievement.
Followed by the speech of the representative of the Deputy Secretary General, Sheikh Khalifa Al-Jawhar, delivered by Mr. Karim Abdeen, Director of the Coordinating Office of Najaf Al-Ashraf, where he conveyed the greetings and prayers of His Excellency the Head of the Shiite Endowments Bureau, His Excellency Alaa Al Moussawi. The efforts of the special secretariat of the holy shrine , the local government, the donors and the Engineering Section of the General Secretariat of the shrines for their efforts in this project, calling for more success in the service of the holy shrines.
Eng. Anwar Al-Muzaffar, head of the Engineering Department, gave a brief about the nature of the project and explained the conditions that accompanied the reconstruction stages. He also pointed out that the project was funded only from the shrine's revenues and the donations of the esteemed benefactors.
The ceremony also included the distribution of a book of thanks and appreciation to the Special Secretary of the holy shrine Sheikh Awad Ghanem and the participants submitted by His Eminence Sheikh Khalifa Al-Jawhar, Deputy Secretary-General of the shrines.
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Luay Abdul Karim, Head of Media and Public Relations, Eng. Mohamed Taleb, Director of Maysan Coordinating Bureau and a number of trustees from Babylon, Diyala, Najaf Al Ashraf and the local government.
